Alyssa joined TSLC in 2001.
Before joining TSLC, she worked in a special education preschool in the Bronx and has many years of experience providing therapeutic intervention to kids of all ages. She currently sees TSLC clients at Yavneh Academy in Paramus, NJ, which enables her to maintain a close interaction with the teachers in order to promote collaboration and facilitate carryover of each child’s therapeutic goals.
Additionally, Alyssa sees clients at the TSLC office, which allows for increased parental involvement in the therapeutic process. Alyssa has much experience administering language and articulation tests and takes pride in her diagnostic abilities. Alyssa’s deep understanding of articulation deficits and oral-motor and language disorders has been instrumental in the remediation of her clients’ specific needs. Her therapy sessions are child-friendly while maintaining the structure necessary to accomplish the therapeutic goals at hand.
Alyssa resides in Teaneck, NJ with her husband and four children.
