Diane is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist who also holds a speech-language specialist certificate.
She has spent her professional career working primarily in pediatric settings providing diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment for preschool and school-age children who present with a variety of communication disorders such as oral motor and phonological processes based disorders, disorders of central auditory processing, autism spectrum, and other language based or pragmatic language based issues.
Diane has enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals over the course of her career including other speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, reading specialists, child psychologists, and learning disability consultants. This has served to enrich and broaden her own approach to therapy. She places strong emphasis on parental involvement in the therapeutic process as she sees this as being most conducive to optimal therapy outcomes.
